Go Diving

The Centre is open 7 days a week from 9am until 6pm. Diving is scheduled daily at 9.30am and 2.30pm. In the busy months we run extra diving in between as needed.

Night diving here in the cove is stunning and should not be missed. See the photo album for pictures of the night life!

Early booking is always advisable, particularly if you require kit hire.

Winter 2008 diving available. Call us for accommodation options and travel arrangements.

Guided diving:
All our diving is guided by a member of our professional team. Due to the underwater topography much of our diving takes place from the shore. Depths to 30m are easily accessible and, for the holidaying diver, long boat trips are eliminated.

The dive guide will provide a full briefing and site orientation together with a guided tour for those who wish to take advantage of our local knowledge. Emergency communications equipment, a first aid kit and oxygen are on hand in case of need. Our staff are all qualified in it's use

Temperature and Visibility:
The temperature ranges from around 21c in May to 25/26c in August. 7mm Wet Suits are advisable in early and late season. A 'shortie' will be sufficient for July and August. Visibility will depend on water temperature and wind direction however, you should expect a minimum of 20m and often up to 40m.

Qualifications:
Divers are required to have an internationally recognised dive qualification and evidence of recent dive experience in order to join our dives.

Insurance:
You should be in pocession of full diving medical cover and have the policy with you. Holiday insurance often provides this cover but check before you travel.

A full range of equipment is available to hire.

See details of our 2007 Sail/Dive sleep overs!
